Subject: Bike librarian, or what to do with a blob of GS leftover.

Had a piece of unused GS the otehr day and figured why not use it in some quick project for my self.
I dont have a bike librarian nor do I know of any on sale so why not try and build one.
I figured I will use magnets to make for an exchangeable librarian/commander/sergeant torso on some bike legs and also magnetized arms with various weaponry.
Bear in mind this is not a "skill effort" job, be it in painting or sculpting, just me goofing around with some GS leftovers and doing some quick painting up of things so please dont criticise the flaws to much, its just a for-fun thing.
First of all I concentrate on the psychic hood and some original torso armour. Most of it was done before I took these first pics but I´ll try to update this project with more pics as I move along:
Next I´ll work some on the torso plates, torso cables and paint up a head to fit inside the psychic hood.

Wow, how did you get the hood to be so well rounded?

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Finished the torso and added a magnet to the side.
Next step will be painting...

Your "just messing around" GS skills are a million times better than my "actually trying" GS skills.

Painted up the torso turned out to look like this:
(Bear in mind that the colour scheme is the traditional Salamanders one where their librarians only have the head piece and the left arm painted blue, the rest of the armour retain the original chapter colour.)
Next will be magnetising bike legs and force weapon arm. I´ll clubber together the force weapon from some fantasy knight bitz I think.

That is freakin' amazing!
You are a wizard with the green stuff.
Librarians have always been my favorite part of the Space Marine fluff and armies, which is why 2nd was on of my favorites, and 3rd was my least!
