Hey there guys,
I've been working on a Blood Angels Librarian to roll with the new Sanguinary Guard in my new Blood Angels army. All miniatures in photos are WIP. For the Librarian I used the Chaplain body, Jump pack, Crozius and right arm (up to wrist) then added the staff and book off the Librarian, and finished with a Death Mask to act as my Psychic Hood.

Sorry bout the brightness of the pics, its my hobby light.

C&C needed!

Cheers

This makes me think of the Tycho model what with all that gold!

Librarians are normally blue though.

Looking good. I'm impressed with how well you were able to remove the original head. I tried the same thing when this model (the JP chaplain) first came out to make my own Lemartes... tried and failed lol.

Very solid conversion... I'm not entirely sold on the color either for a Librarian but the model looks good regardless.

Why does the Librarian remind me of Braveheart?

It looks great. I like how you put on the blue facepaint as a reminder of its "librarianess".

He looks like he's crying in the first picture

8000 points of XI Legion the Space Vagabonds, they can adapt their tactics to represent any and every Legion and Chapter as needed because they were created by the Emperor to be the ultimate tactical power. They have faked their disappearance in order to infiltrate every part of the conflicts in the galaxy.

8000 points of Tau/Craftworld Eldar/Necron because the Space Vagabonds can also emulate their wargear and tactics.

Victories: ALL
Losses: NONE (My armies have the psychic ability to conjure a cataclysmic storm whenever they are about to lose. This allows the Space Vagabonds to teleport away while releasing power waves that destroys the battlefield and so every battle is a victory)

Lol, well a few mixed replies.

I thought about blue, but believe me, with the Death Mask and since he is rolling with my Sanguinary Guard, I thought it would look completely out of place. The blueness is a good general rule to follow for normal Librarians because sometimes the model doesn't stick out as a librarian. But with his staff and book, he is obviously a Librarian.

And yeah, I tried to incorporate some blue in there for the peeps who are like, "NUUUUU, NUUUUU, Librarians are supposed to be blueeeee!"
