Inboud...

I like it! Great use of colour.

The green stripes on the carapace could be a little thinner IMO, but yours do not detract from the model at all.

Well done!

The green looks great with the beige.

I really like your colour's used but it could be alot better EG. Thin down your paint just a tiny bit with water, Avoid tiny hairs getting in your model's by holding your brush higher. Also you might need a little lighter green high lights on the caraprice. Other than those really small mistakes I really love your Hive tyrant , Especially the bubbling saliva effect's you've done.

Good job

You sneezed on your tyrant, didn't you?

J/K - nice work, I like it. The green could be improved with a couple of layers with different shades of green if you feel up to it

If I'm not mistaken, it looks like your (washes?) aren't covering the carapace well enough. :( Make sure you've got a solid (and dry) basecoat before you go to wash your models.

Otherwise, this looks nice. I love the creative use of glue for the toxic miasma instead of using it for drool like everyone else does.

CadianXV, thinning down the pattern of the green wouldn't be as good as it sounds, as according to my WIP fluff, the carapace is meant to look like the Rorschach test, like so,

http://www.getreligion.org/wp-content/photos/rorschach.jpg

-=Scar=-, i actually looked for these hairs, though i could not find any, these photos were taken about 1 day after painting it, and the fact the HT sits in a display case with no door (its coming), fluff/dust is bound to seemingly land on it.

anooci, i did not apply any form of wash onto the back carapace, but if you mean the actual skin (bleached bone painted part) then i can agree with you as my bleached bone is a little thick and i might need to make it more liquidy by adding a few drops of water and shaking it.

other than that i really really appreciate all the kind/ creative criticism. thanks

Yeah, I did mean the skin. I dunno if it's a paint thickness problem. It just kinda looks like you put too many coats on in too little time, so the layers underneath rubbed off to reveal metal.

its actually the black undercoat, i might have missed a few areas to go over, cause i applied 2 layers of Bleached Bone, one watered down and the other straight from the tub. ill consider going over those areas though thanks for pointing it out
