Whats your fav cartoons? And Im talking regular normal ol cartoons, not those weird ass Japanese animated ones that remind of some bizarre Slaanesh orgy caught on tape.

Currently I love Spongebob like no other. That cartoon is hilarious.
Family Guy
American dad
Simpsons
southpark
Courage the cowardly dog
And I used to be a huge fan of DBZ

What about you dakka?

Rocko's Modern Life is the greatest cartoon of all time.

I also love:

Hey Arnold

the first 3 seasons of Rugrats, where it was not PC, and more of the jokes were meant for adults.

Doug (the old nicktoons, not the disney version)

and Family Guy

Sold everything.

Those are some of the very few gems Americans produced of a style of epic story telling akin to what DnD used to be like (think Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman kind of storytelling of the Dragons series).

Let us not forget also the great Swat Cats, which while entirely episodal was also a break from many other comedy oriented American cartoons as well.

A few more I can recall:

King Arthur & the Knights of Justice- Not as strong as the others, but nonetheless memorable for the epic I was talking about.

Batman- What can I say, simply one of the most amazing things ever produced by Americans.

Batman Beyond- A great stand-alone of Batman animated lore. Not as strong the original Batman series, but still very good nonetheless.

The Maxx- What a strange cartoon. Was often paired with Aeon Flux if I remember, and had an interesting hero and setting. Still, it was a positive kind of strange.

Sonic the Hedgehog- Not the crappy one- the one with darkness, drama, and strong character development. And I mean the one from the early ninties, none of that Sonic X crap or anything else like it.

TaleSpin- Disney sometimes creates a really good cartoon. TaleSpin was one of them. While cartoony and humorous, it was a delightful cartoon overall with a decent cast.

Red Planet- a miniseries about aliens and Mars colonizers. Definately an solid story, but nothing else really fantastical about it.

Aeon Flux- amazing. A really beautiful if totally screwed up look at a dystopian future.

Beast Wars: Transformers- O.K. That is CGI, but it is probably the best series produced for the Transformers since the original series. And don't confuse it with Beast Machines (the atrocity).

Highlander: The Animated Series- in a world where immortals fight for ultimate survival, most of the human race was killed off and this was a pretty kick ass cartoon.

White Fang: the Animated Series- an HBO broadcast cartoon about a Canadian half-wolf and his childish female companion outwitting a greedy town business man and his fat half-wit side kick. Did I mention it was in Canada?

The Wizard of Oz cartoon series- I believe it aired with White Fang on HBO, it was also an interesting cartoon for the varied landscapes and regions of Oz it made the characters experience.

The Neverending Story cartoon series- the HBO themed cartoons again...same as Wizard of Oz.

David the Gnome- he DIED and he and his wife turned into TREES. It was one of the saddest things I ever saw as a child. Also a really cool cartoon.

Well, the well is drained for now on the cartoons I can remember.

EDIT: Oh yes, also the second Adventures of Tintin. Also an HBO cartoon series and also well written and wonderfully done (also looks like the Pipboy guy).

Gathering the Informations.

Xbox Live has "Exo-Squad" up for sale, as a heads up.

I'm not ashamed to say I burnt almost $100 that day filling it out, since at the time of it being on there(including a season that -never- actually aired!), there was no DVD box set for sale.

Swat Kats. Such an amazing show. That and the really old and good Sonic cartoon. Not the one where it was just Sonic and Tails, the one with the entire resistance force.

Sealab 2021 has the best theme tune ever.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
