Hi guys another problem has come. I tried to install my new Diablo 2 expansion. But problem is it keeps coming up with pause Google Desktop search when i don't have it. And it also says Please Insert Diablo 2 Expansion Disc 1 and it doesn't work. No matter what I do nothing has seemed to work.
Its really starting to piss me off. I haven't played dialbo 2 in like 4 years.
Any Suggestions or no?

What OS are you running, I had a problem with it and Vista but I think there is a patch. Diablo 2 was the stuff back in the day. Cant wait for diablo 3

Vista can run the expansion, not normal d2 though, this sounds like the disk more. It can also run the install. Check the disk for scratches and smudges first. Then clean it and put it back in, even if there's no scratches or smudges. If that doesn't work try another disk in the drive as it may have dust on the lense. If that doesn't work your disk might be defective.

I had this problem too. As far as I can remember, I solved it by downloading the game via my cd-key through Battle.net, the program I got didn't work either until I ran it as admin (Check the box in properties), now it works fine. =)

Well its fixed Because i borrowed my friends working one.....

So it was the CD then, I thought you solved it when you wanted it to close

I guess you could PM a mod or something if you want it to close.
