It almost sounds like it's getting redone as a transition between KD:M and the hero level game. As long as the quality continues to be high I'm fine waiting. The campaign book would be pretty exciting though.

Hah. Gotta love the self-aware kickstarter jibes. Would definitely be willing to support the kickstarters based on the results of KD:M; especially KD: Quest and KD: Labyrinth.

What do you guys think, safe to say Kingdom Death: Labyrinth is the working title of the previously rumored Kingdom Death: Heroes?

I don't think the miniatures for the Lantern Festival are being completely redone, just the game play (read: paper) aspect of it. If that's the case, and the models have been produced, then I'd expect it this year. If not, then stretch that to include Q1 2017.

I figured Quest would be the Heroes game since it would be completely new; Labyrinth sounded like another expansion.

That's cool that he sold enough to cover the development costs - but it's a bit of a bummer that it's sold out. I would think since that core costs are covered, and sprues are already tooled it wouldn't be nearly as expensive to do a second run of the game?

Going to KS is probably a bad idea (for reasons he mentioned) but I would think it would be fairly simple to do some sort of pre-order thing on the KD website where you basically pre-buy the game and once 250 (or whatever) copies are sold they'd have enough cash to do a second run.

I couldn't even imagine backing another Poots Kickstarter...

I couldn't imagine how much money I'd be tempted to throw at it.

Although continued talk of PVC worries me. I'm not a fan of the material, and would prefer Poots sticks to resin and/or HIPS. Heck, I wouldn't mind metal.

That's cool that Poots still wants to do the video game. If it winds up being a Metroivania, I would back that in a heartbeat. As much as we all dislike the PVC, I think KD: Quest would be a good idea. I imagine it would be a great gateway game for getting people interested in Kingdom Death.

I'm a little surprised that the Storm Knight expansion isn't the campaign mode expansion. Based on the fluff that's out there, it sounds like in order to face the Storm Knight, prospective heroes have to basically do a dungeon crawl.

If Poots was ever to do a PVC game, I'm sure the quality of figures would be a step higher than the usual gaming figuers- more Journey style than the typical FFG figure for example.

I'm sure with the buzz (and $$$) generated by the game, a lot of companies wouldn't mind stepping up and getting a slice of that delicious Kingdom Death pie.

It may be full of hands, genitals, and faces, but it will be delicious nonetheless.

Ordered Gorm & DBK!

Also, if he does PVC like Journey : Wrath of Demons, I would have no concerns. I love the models, and am glad to have backed it.

For future stuff, I would be OK to back another, much smaller KD Kickstarter. If it's $300 or less complete and HIPS, then I'm definitely in. If it's $500+, maybe not.

I am impressed with the game, expansions and most importantly the professionalism that Adam brought to the table.

Excellent game, and wondering if it will work compatibility wise- with Dark Souls.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Id love to have a game where I can use all these KD hero pinup figures I've snagged. So very keen for that.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

I'd love KD:Heroes, with the entire set in plastic.

I've got easily a dozen characters that could go in it that are all in plastic, so I don't see why they'd go back to resin when they've got a bunch of them tooled already.

FYI, post-KS orders are shipping.

I just received my post-KS order from the US warehouse. 1 week from shipping annoucement from KD website.

It's very satisfying to have all of the stuff in hand.

Friend of mine ordered a bunch of expansions and he got them within 7 days of ordering.

He got them without prior notice or a verification that his order had been shipped. There was just a huge box waiting for him when he got home from work. So don't worry if you haven't gotten a notification. Your resin crack might be on its way.

Yeah, Pariah is the standout figure of this batch of releases. I picked up the Druid too, anything sculpted by JAG is a must buy.

I also added the 54mm Dragon Sacrifice to my order, I have the smaller version in resin but it's my favourite pinup and I just couldn't stop myself

Poots limits the number of items for sale at any one time so in order to put new items up old items have to come down. The expansions will come back later as these items go out of stock and the stock is rotated.

I'm curious what "new plastics" will be for sale at Gencon, especially since he placed that separate from the expansions.

Exact same thing here. Wasn't going to get her because I have a plast and resin version but the 54mm ones are nice and if not now, when? When, I say?!

The ram armor pin-up art is adorable - but the mini itself doesn't seem to have the cute glasses :/ No sale!

Has anyone calculated the price of the KS stuff vs the retail price of everything, and how much you saved if you went in on the KS? I imagine you'd have to pay around 4-5x more to get everything now (assuming it was all in stock somehow)?

The main game was $100 vs $400.

Expansions are similar ratio of roughly 4x from KS to MSRP.

This truly was the holy grail KS. That's not even taking into account if you backed at a few dollars more for the non-game extras. I backed at an $129 EB Survivor spot and sold off the survivor box for $250, so guess you could say I got the game for -$121.

Good things come to those who wait! I backed at HOD and sold off the unarmored guys (I didn't like the smooth backs) and the Manhunter (I didn't like him, either). The rest of my stuff are keepers. Deal of a lifetime, I think.

This is one of the few problems I have with the KD minis he never seems to add pictures of the alternate heads or clothes which then arrive with the mini. Just received it after paying a rather nasty customs charge, and it comes with two heads one of which is a two piece cast with the glasses!
