I finally got my hands on a camera that isn't total crap,so I decided to take some pictures. This is a showcase of my models as much as it's an experiment with camera composition, so please bear with me!

Okay,first, a picture of my Hive Fleet Kraken Tyranids. These are the only models I myself have painted. Everything else will be painted in their likeness


Next,is an overview of my CSM Black Legion. I've got three tanks,and a single unit of CSM. I like to buy the most expensive things first,so I don't have to worry about them later. Note my sexy Daemon prince over there in the corner



He's still a WIP,and I swear,this photo doesn't do him justice,but here's a picture of my Daemon Prince. There is soooo much more detail than this photo shows. There's about 5 reds in the flesh,and some red wash too. I'm really sad that this photo is so meh. Anyway,here ya go!


Next is my entire Tyranid collection. It's really small right now (and ugly, I know!) because I just started them. I got these from a friend for a really good deal,so I have no regrets of them being so ugl,lol. As I said before,the hive fleet kraken models are the ones I've painted. The trygon-prime is sprayed black,and I bought that myself.

Your minis seems to be really well painted, but the photos are too dark/far away to really see the details proper :(

From what I can make out they look nice. Maybe take more pics + closeups of them. Try using 2 sheets of white paper/card. One to put them on and one as backdrop . It will really help do your models justice on camera.

Thanks! I swear, my Black legion look sooooo much better than those pictures. I'm borrowing a camera from my friend for the weekend.so I'll see if I can get the lighting right. I need to leave my room,for sure,haha. I've only got two lights,and they stink like butt.LOL

Check out the tutorial section, and use the search for taking better pictures. Theres plenty of tips in there that will help your pics tremendously, infact some will some make you do the "well Im dumb why didnt I think of that"

From what I can see though, your army is pretty good table top. Some better pics and youll be golden.

Okay,that's a good idea. Nothing better than learning about this kind of stuff in the context I'll actually use it in!

nice mini's, and yes red sucks when photographing it! I had the same problem with my exorcists, your chaos army looks nuts! and so do your nids, well done sir, well done.

I am amazed your armies are really good especially tyranids. Keep that army. The only thing that made me sad is that you have no LAND SCAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awsome Chaos mini's looks just like mine accept I have no Land Raider yet and I got a Brass Scorpion insted of a Demolisher, Chaos Prince I have the same one but I think I will finish it in an all Khorne style. Nids are my fav opponent my buddy Andrew plays them and his Smurfy Ultra Marines agaist me all the time. My Eldar Guardian force is real old its all shruiken catapult and melta gun hvy with chain attachment along with 4 boxes of Harliquins

You got a scorpion? Lucky! My land raider was my first ever tank, and I'm not happy with it. I put too many bits on it, and it ruined the paintjob when I took them off. Looks fine from these angles, but the top is gross

Built my Brass Scorpion from my bits box. I am working on my super heavy's Cauldron of Blood and Cannon of Khorne for Appocolips

If more locals in my area had armies half as well-done as yours, I'd feel alot better about bringing my Cadians out--I don't mind losing. I just mind losing to someone who half-primes their army.
