21, think that's doable? If I paint one every weekday, maybe I can do it. It's hard to get motivated painting those basic CSM that I probably won't use much after I buy my cultists.

Oh and I already got a job! WOO!

Who knows, I change my mind too much to pin it down every week. But probably Noise Marines. But that will be next month.

Work on Ultramarine squads. Removing mold lines, getting each ready for painting by adding bits and correct weapons.

Cut CoD terrain off sprue, trim mold lines, construct, and paint so I have top shelf terrain for my games of 40k

The arrival of the store copy of the 5th edition 40K Rule book has forced me to trash my June Vow and start over.....

Building a new army for the new edition, and I am going to start with some basic staples...

Assemble:

32 Fire Caste Warrior
2 Devilfish
2 Crisis Suits
2 Sniper Teams (5 drones, 2 spotters)

Paint:

1 test model. The assembly will take a lot of time so I am only going to ask myself for one painted model.

Well, my Death Korps command squad (The fancy ones). They have to be painted, and loved, and based.

I want them to be brilliant, goddamnit!

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.

::update::

Ok, so the dread is looking good. The Raptors are getting there slowly but surely, and I need to do the planning for the DP because horrific visions of it are starting to disturb my sleep, and must be exorcised. The Hasadi Sorcerers will be finished in the modeling phase, but I am not so sure about the various skelies. Planning for the Djinn is looking good so far as well.

June was a bad month, painting wise. I just finished the Kossites, the Behemoth was done at the beginning of the month, and that's it. Last MOWST is primed and based, the Renegade Foreign Legion dudes are also primed and based, and the MOWDC are still in the box :-(. Ah well, the boy starts day care in July, so maybe I'll get some of the (now very much increased) backlog done.

EDIT: Redemption! Last MOWST is done and I should be able to finish the FL guys today. Huzzah!

Better than last month!

Last week was the least modeling / painting I've done in a solid year's time, managed to finish the princes and glue sand down to all the Khorne demons. Felt so crappy painting absolutely NOTHING, but July will hopefully prove more productive (despite the holidays and busy weekends ahead).

Wow...I got almost nothing done this month.

1) put a wash on my 3 Tyrant Guard
2) did some initial gunmetal on 4 Menoth jacks
3) assembled a few Warmachine models (Vilmon, Reclaimer, Vassal, Tartarus, most of eFeora)

I think very little will get done during the summer months...to much outdoor and social stuff to do. Ah well.
