For $8 per squad, they look fine. Most of you guys work for $8 or more per hour right. You actually think this artist could paint 5 figures to your standards in 1 hour or less. You really need to look at the total value (price/speed/and quality).

For what I paid, it is worth it. That is not a condemnation. It is good quality for the price. Simple as that.

The scouts and standard bearer are mine, and what matters is that i am satisfied. I wanted a table top standard for a good price and that is what i got, not to mention he made something horrid look great and gave it a unique look. highlights i can handle on my own, not to mention if i want my troops to look the same then is better that i do the highlights and sealing. Not to mention that i met two people that are pleasant and friendly.

I am taking the plunge and asking them to do a Human Blood Bowl team for me.

So far, communication and price are good. Models are currently en-route to the painter.

My son's asking for a Tau army now... if he saves up for it, I'm going to have the models painted by TTG43 since I just don't have the time/energy to paint more on top of my current workload. After I finish my Eldar, I've still got Orks and a Crimson Fist successor chapter to do... some of them might get sent with the Tau!

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

The Only good thing here is the freehand, years spending nights painting with exesive amouts of caffene has made my hands unstable, no need to improve there

@TTG43:

I like what you did with the Devil Fish. When I look at Dakka's photo gallery, the first thing I look for is 1) did he paint within the lines and are the color changes neat and clean 2) Are the colors solid or is the paint job streaking. That said, I think you did a great job in keeping the colors within their respective boundaries which is especially important for Tau and the paint covers the model well. SO kudos .

I wish that the person who had done my Tau like 8 years ago would have done as nice a job as you just did.

I just received my scout , they look better up close....The standard bearer is superb, i cant ask for more. The backpacks have all been fixed and affixed with sturdy poled for the squad standards, the flags are made from terry cloth and seem very sturdy to tugging etc..... Simply awesome meticulous work. the scout and base work look a lot better , the pictures do not do them credit. The flash was cleaned out of all the minis, the paint is not laid on thick, it may be the black undercoat that gives it that pasty look but when in my hands i see no thick paints as stated. I put them at great tabletop quality, very clean colors meticulously painted details.
Send him a tester squad if you do not agree with a customers review. You will be satisfied as the price is super , it can't be beat, and he will work with you side by side on all you want and can make last minute alterations if you like. Is a pleasure to talk to this couple as they both enjoy the hobby and want to make it enjoyable for everyone at a more then fair price. You can also purchase from them and have it painted. They have a nice discount store and have instant access to anything not listed. Just talk to them , they aim to make your experience a great one and you will surely be a repeat customer.

P.S. I do not think i will be highlighting them as they look great as they are. The turn around was about a week, if you add time and shipping maybe 10 days.

I was going to mention about the pictures- I think the single model pictures you're taking might not be doing them justice TTG43. Does your camera have a "macro" mode setting? The pictures that are a little farther out (like of the devilfish) seem to come out so much better! Although the pictures of the gaunts did come out nice (but again it was more than one figure, perhaps slightly zoomed out)

Just a thought about why the pics of the single minis might not be focusing

Excellent work once again

Kudos, I really like your conversion work, your painting is solid and more than what you could expect for the price, nice man, keep it up

I don't want to be human! I want to see gamma rays! I want to hear X-rays! And I want to - I want to smell dark matter! Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can't even express these things properly because I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid limiting spoken language! But I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws! And feel the wind of a supernova flowing over me! And I can know much more! I can experience so much more. But I'm trapped in this absurd body!

Nice conversions! Your greenstuff work is great!

And I see you added the pictures of the stealth suits, they look like an awesome unit . I can't wait to see them in person!

You've also done all this very quickly from when I sent it to you, which is an added bonus

Awesome Really nice and clean! I am impressed by how you did all of the black lining

Also, for everyone else... this was an incredible deal, truly "affordable" . I wouldn't have been able to have it painted otherwise!

Donald has matched the picture of the crisis suit I sent him perfectly! I'll post pictures of the whole army that I sent Donald when I get it back

Very nicely painted. Also, you have very good free-handing skills. Many people jsut use the transfers with the black and white colors. It's nice to see somone who tries something different, especially when they do it well!

Also, I really like the bases. They're nicely done.
