So I want a Great Unclean One, but I want to build my own.
Requirements: About the same size, 50mm base. Hideous, pestiliant, green. with a flail.
So after looking at the Tervigon, I think that ordering a bitz of the birthing sac as the torso would be a good idea, and then I was looking at elephant style legs and found none, so I decided that going more slug like sort of like
was a good idea. So I started looking for a core to build the rest of the body and the tail out of. I do have part of the spirit host from the mortis engine and it's the same width as the birthing sac, so that may be a good fit, and I'll just need to build the back. I saw the fleshborer hive parts from the the Traynofex kit sitting in my box and that could look all nice and gak on the back.
For arms I'm looking at daemon prince arms. I'm going to take the axe handled one and attack the Ceanser from the plague furnace to it and have that as the flair. However I am worried that the shaft won't hold so I may have to replace that with brass rod or something. The other arm I am not sure of, but I do plan on adding at least one nurgeling to a shoulder.
The neck with 712,654,234 chins will pop out of the birthing sac, and I'm looking at using the metal lammasu head for this beastie.
So once the plastic core is build the more organic pestilant sludge will be built with apoxiesculpt and green stuff.
So this is the manifesto- I can write one. I do live in a log cabin.
Apoxie Sculpt Arrived
It's that pink ball, I used two masses of them that size to produce
I did some green stuff work, sculpting hair, heads for the boils and wounds. I'm getting to have a weight issue on this, dude being too forward and top heavy. So If anyone has a piece of heavy thang that would stick under the 50mm base hook a brother up.
I'm going to wait on arms, and when they arrive I'll have the final parts for my May addition to the
TK so this project will get sat to the side for a few days.
There he be, Still not done, I need to smooth out the joint on the weapon, shoulders and add more disease. Maybe a nurgleling sitting on a shoulder. I ordered my first blister yesterday. I'm likely going to need to make 8-10 bases.
Then Based on Feedback I repositioned the weapon arm.
I tried moving the weapon arm more forward and inside and the horns on the head, as well as his massive girth prevented it from getting too inside and forward. and my big thing is not to have anything on the weapon arm resting on anything else on the model. Hence the foam space.
So after readjustment I added some more sickness. I need to detail the right shoulder more.
So there is a lot of seams that are going to need to be smoothed before painting, but the Liquid Green Stuff is amazing for that and removing fingerprints.
