That's a sweet looking TDA'ed Marshal kronk. Interesting combo you've gone for with the lightning claw and storm shield. Does it pay off for you?

When I play my Dark Angels it's my Deathwing dreadnought, Lithonius the Slayer. He's murdered all sorts of nightmarish Chaos daemon engines with that power fist he's packing. Pretty damn accurate with the plasma cannon too.

For Necrons, probably my Heat Ray wielding Triarch Stalker. That thing murders my brother's forces with ruthless efficiency.

Dark Eldar- probably my Beast master with his doggies of doom (see Heresy Miniatures site). Great for clogging up enemy units with tooth and fanged monstrosities.

40K: For Salamanders, I'd always bring my Razorback with Lascannons. The model itself is busted (the storm bolter is more or less gone), but it seems to always do more than my predator.

WHFB: For Skaven, Plague Monks. The amount of attacks they make certainly worked wonders in the past.

Old Zogwort.

Until they removed him :(

Rarely had much impact on the game beyond giving away Slay the Warlord, but the occasional squigging he did pull off was awesome...

I still use the model as a Wierdboy, but it's not the same..

Ditto Wazdakka. Ran a LOT of Speek Freeks lists with him, now he's just a Warboss on the Blitzbike.

When I start Flames of War I will be using a 1:144 scale Panzer III that I got with a Dragon Karl Gerat kit as my command tank.

In Warmachine I always take my Seether Helljack, "Torment", it has yet to let me down

Free from GW's tyranny and the hobby is looking better for it

For me when I play Pike & Shot I never field my English Parlamentarian army without my lancers, they provide solid flank protection for my blocks of pikemen and musketers, and they also ran outrun almost any other cavalry, giving me a long reach if need be

Maybe he plays on a black asphault table, in which case they are based.

I'm from an era when basing was just a case of painting the base gretchin green. Sometimes with a splash of grey for rock. Once I even glued some sand on a base after reading it in a magazine. These days I put a lot more effort in (mostly flock/gravel) but 20 years ago basic bases were the norm.

I also have 20+ year old mini's that haven't been painted yet.

I also don’t drill my gun barrels

Basing my army is one of those things that’s perpetually on the to-do list. Recently, I actually got supplies to do it. While it can be nice to have a properly based army, it can also be jarring to have them not match the table.

The last time I based minis was just shy of 2 decades ago, but it was my Undead army. And yes, they were goblin green rims and flock. People didn’t care so much about bases back then, and I still only kind of do. But my Ultras are going to be arctic based, eventually.

In 5th edition, you bet (loved the reroll to-hit BT Vow and the reroll to-wound from the LC, 2+/3++, entire army LD10)! I never used in in 6th, and haven't played any 7th.
