This is a good move. It’s just too expensive to produce a big game in 1 fell swoop. Keep your rules free, in this day and age, I really don’t feel like printed books are all that necessary especially for brand new games. Nice to have or collect, but not necessary. You can look into print on demand services like Wargame Vault for players that really want a printed book, which will cost you nothing but the time to lay it out, and then you don’t have to worry about printing thousands of copies that sit in your garage and collect dust You can also use Wargame Vault to print stat cards for the minis if they need them.

Focus on making awesome minis, thats what will get people into the game. Maybe you can start with 3 or 4 small starter sets, and then add on to them slowly over time.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to those few who did support us before I shut this puppy down. Please keep an eye out for our upcoming smaller miniature kickstarters. We also added a few more pics of our Pledge Level Figures that hopefully show the level of detail better. Even better, in our most recent update we decided that if we hit our 5K Stretch Goal that anyone who has pledged for $100 or more will get a free Frost Giant riding on the Mammoth figure. This will be the largest figure Olde World Miniatures has made to date. This guy will retail for around $50 so we thought it would be a great way to say thanks if we hit that goal.

We have finally unlocked our 2,000 Stretch Goal and we are now trying to unlock our next goal at 2,500... Cassandra, Cleric and Priestess of Galgadur and the Free Trade Company Hussar riding on a Dire Wolf.



We have also added an extra $10 Pledge Level Figure... Lucian, the Risen!
