Here here my WoC general with i have converted iwth 8th in mind (ie great weapons being +2 strength), that and cool factor, hes still not 100% complete, need to highlight the black areas, finish the axe, do some blood effects, highlight the leather and finisg the juggers mouth.

This is one of my all-time favourite models and your conversion is both subtle and complimentary to the mini.

I certainly hope to see more emphasis on the axe, perhaps glowing runes or something to make it 'pop' visually.

The trophy head needs some finishing highlighting as well.

For me, it's the blood that makes a khorne mini a khorne mini- please post pictures soon

OK cheers guys, im glad yoy like it! i really like the idea of some runes on the axe actually, i think that could look very cool actually! i will have a look in one of the chaos boxes for some ideas on that , i will also do some more highlighting on the gold as now that i look it i can see what you mean, bloods going to have to wait until friday as im going to have to go and get some paint for that (based on what i read on throne of skulls anyways).

Bigger axe=obviously better!

Well heres some more work on the mounted Khorne Lord, he is pretty much finished, i still nedd to do some blood effects (lack the paints atm or the funds to by them), suggestions would be great!

I just changed the methid slightly because i didnt have any black wash, i used chaos black and then went over it again with th Tamyia clear red

I had to redo the blood because of the varnish i used, i also tried to darken the gold down using Ogryn flesh wash.

Adding the blood to the mount's mouth is EXCELLENT! I very much like this mini.

Perhaps you could go back and add some flesh color to the head, though, so that it's clear that it's a head, instead of a sack of organs, or something.

@ Ailaros - Well i think i might have gotten a little carried away with the blood, i will go back and fix that however i have been more concerned with getting the color of the gold just right (which i think i have now), glad you like the blood round the mouth



This is only miner tweaks, i have put another ogryn wash over the gold and then a Leviathan purple folowed by highlighting the gold again with shinning gold, might also tweak the metal colors and red on the armour
