Looking really nice and clean so far, please tell me you will be one of the few people to add Plate colour rather than just metalics to the generictron army

well often it depends how you base or compliment your army with their tubing in the rifles, personally i had always loved the ivory effect on necrons but never got around to it, or using crackling glaze over bone, another thing you could do completely different is to use Rust pigment and simply do a little research on rust appearance and then apply it to the entire army. infact, rusted necrons with awesome glowing power cores, eyes and rifles would look the dogs OO

example of rusting copper,

rusting iron

rusting steel

just some ideas

Cheers man , i may have a look into the ivory effect as i am not too fond on the rust , any examples of the ivory effect that you think would look good ?

Once again thanks for the input.

Look to the white on the shoulder pad, the technique was explained on the cool mini or not forums under forge world space marine, and involved some crackling glaze done in a two part with base colour and colour that gets the crackling, unsure though as i haven't tested it

Looks great! I wouldve chosen to do them a different color rather than the normal silver though. Other than that, looks nice, would love to see your further work on this!

@ Khargrim: ohh yes i see what you mean cheers for the tutorial i may give this a go.

@ Jollydevil: Thanks for the kind comments , the only reason that i chose the normal silver scheme was for the reason that it is very quick and easy to paint and i would be able to get a army on the table top within a reasonable amount of time. When i get some more done i will be sure to post an update. However i am not sure when this will be as i am just starting on a valkyrie skyfall spearhead which i think may consume most of my painting / modelling time.

Thanks for the kind input sofar everyone.
