After wondering whether or not to sell or trade my Orks from AOBR i decided to paint them - mostly because my primer ruined my space marines and i havnt stripped them yet. So i started of with the Warboss because it would be a fun model to paint first and here it is:

Because i drbrushed the skin it looks quite 'rough'. Would a wash on it make a difference if so, wich one should i use. Badab Black or Thraka Green maybe? I did drybrushing instead of highlighting (layering?) because im not too good at it and even thought practice makes perfect i wanted my elites and character to look the best i can make them look atm.

I also started to put together my nobz and i even started to paint one.

However, me being me, i thought i would try and take a short cut with the metal because i spent ages doing it on the boss, but after finishing the first layer ive decided i dont like it, so im going to go over the chainmail with black and go back to the other metal scheme that i much prefere.

C&C greatly welcomed

cheers, Conor.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I just finished my ork nob, i'm particularly proud of the red highlighting on the axe, i think it looks great.
I'm not sure what i want to paint straight after the Nobz, it will probably be either the Deffcoptas or the Big Shoota boyz

And the axe i like

And a group shot of them all so far

Even though i prefer my metal paint scheme to another one i tried out, im still not totally satisfied with it. Can anyone reccomend a nice look one that doesn't take too much time and that they think i might be able to do?

C&C welcome

cheers, Conor
