Here are some of my CSM army. Led by Abaddon this would become a Black Crusade Apocalypse army with the main force spearheaded by Khorne Berzerkers and supported by Plague Marines, Noise Marines and Thousand Sons. I also have a Lord on a bike and Terminators led by Typhus (all converted from Assault On Black Reach).

Well, first I recognise that you have some converting skills and good ideas, but you have to work on your paint job quality to make it worth the quality of your conversions.

First of all, thinning your paints is essential, as is the choice of your base coat.

Then, use washes with caution, and only on the concerned parts of your models.

If you need technique you'll find a lot of good advices here. (some far better painters than me will be glad to help you!)

Definitely not a bad start to your Chaos Marines, but as Hyenajoe stated, you need to work on your painting a little bit. Some of the pictures look like the paint is on a little thick, I usually wipe most off of the brush before I paint it on the model, or you can always slightly water down the paint before you apply it to the model. My one key piece of advice is to remember how much each model costs. With Abbaddon at $25 or so, you should definitely spend a lot of time on him and get him looking great! Take your time on the highlights on the hair, make the skintone look like there's still a little life in him, and paint everything, the wire around his neck and torso, as well as some other areas, are still primered black.
As I said before, your painting is good to start, but sit down and really make your models look great!

Thanks guys. I will take the advice and keep it in mind... it is still a work in progress and I was struggling on deciding on a colour scheme for the terminators. Typhus is my personal favourite though

I think your Skull Champion is really nice and neat. Just perhaps try and touch up some of the others so you can't see any primer, makes a world of difference. Keep it up!
