As I said, I am not sure of the criteria for a "Loganwing" list, but if this is one of those, then here it is anyway. I have zero experience with the space wolves, I just got the codex(I have nilla marines right now) and this was the list I was thinking of going with. CnC me to death pleease!!!!

HQ:
Logan Grimmnar
Runic Priest: Rune Master, Runic Armor, Living Lightning, Jaws of the World Wolf

Troops:
Wolf Guard x5
Terminator x5
TH/SSx3
SS/Frost Blade x2
LRC MM Xtra Armor(Wolf Guard Dedicated)

Grey Hunter x9 (Rune Priest goes here)
Meltagun, Rhino

Grey Hunter x10
Power Weapon, Flamer, meltagun, Rhino

Heavy:
Longfangs x6 (1 leader, 5 longfangs)(Logan goes here)
Missile Launcher x5

Predator
HB Sponsons

Predator
LC Sponsons

There it is. Like I said, please CnC me! I like to think that this would be good against all comers. BTW, a quick question. With the Wolf Guard... is there a reason to take a TH over a PF...they are 5pts more, and the extra shaken result doesn't really seem that amazing to me...just a question. Please explain if I am wrong. I reallly like the frost blades adding the strength and still goin at higher initiative than the hammers, and still carrying a shield for the survivability.

Extra shaken doesn't really matter with a Thunder Hammer...what matters is that if it survives combat, its initiative is dropped down to 1. Perfect for fighting Wraithlords, Avatars, Swarmlords, Trygons, so on and so forth.

You have Terminators that are not in a Drop Pod or Land Raider...that makes them dead Terminators...try and get them a ride or leave them at home.

Predators...your points are better spent on Long Fangs in my opinion. Space Wolf Heavy Slots should only go to 3 things:

Vindicators, Land Raiders and Long Fangs. Predators really just don't carry their weight in my opinion.

That's just my thoughts.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

How exactly does one get a unit of seven Long Fangs?

Just going from memory, it's 1-1 Squad Leader and 1-5 Long Fangs.

He's probably counting Logan there...at least I'm hoping so.

Actually, I do have a LR for the list, I just missed it when I posted the list...der. And I miscounted the longfangs.
And, why do you think the Predators are bad?

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

It's fine, you just can't have the 'ablative wound guy', and if you paid 15 points for him, you can have them back.

couple things:

1) You have to have 10 Grey Hunters to get a second special weapon. So the pack with Rune Priest is invalid.

2) Mark of the Wolfen in your Grey Hunter squad is amazing good. Also, your Grey Hunters are missing high strength attacks so you'll be crying when they get charged by a dread. If you take a Wolf Guard as pack leader and give them the PF you get +1 A and it's actually cheaper by 3 pts than giving a Grey Hunter a PF. And you can give the WG a combi- weapon for +2 points above the cost of a Grey Hunter with PF.

3) You should give the Long Fangs with Logan a Drop Pod since he can give them relentless the turn they come in from reserve you can pop 2 vehicles easy with rear shots. Oh and hand your opponent a tissue at this point for the tears.

4) Oh yeah and drop the preds ... Long Fangs >>> preds

5) Finally, if you take a WG in termie armor with a cyclone launcher you can attach him to a Long Fangs pack for 7 missile shots each turn.

i thought you could only take an extra special weapon with a full ten man squad of grey hunters.

I fixed the squad, you can only take a second weapon with a full squad, but you can have one otherwise. Love trying a new dex...gotta read, lol. I definately like the drop pod idea, especially if I trade the preds for dreads in pods...will have to find the points though. And for mark of wulfen...and more wolf guard...damn. Are wolf guard normally just used as squad leaders basically?

I usually take 3 WG in PA with PF/Bolter that go with grey hunters. Then 2 in TA w/ cyclone in long fangs. Then 4 Wolf Claws and 1 w/ TH & SS. The close combat termies go in a LRC.

You are thinking of the old TH's. The new ones only shake vehicles.
