Pete was once a normal grot trying to scavage anything he could get his grubbly little hands on. One day a sandstorm blew into the ork village. Pete thought it would be a great idea to sneek into weird stink cheese's hut and steal his huge bag of teef. Almost every loota in the town had tryed this, but all were turned into half snotling, half face bitter squig abominations. Pete thought since he was more cunning than snikrot himself, he could easily sneek in and grab the bag while stink cheese was distracted by the sandstorm.
Pete silently creeped into the odd hut. Quickly he spotted stink cheese snoring in his bed with what seemed to be an imperial magazine over his head. Pete snikered silently as he realized his fortune. He then commited himself for rumagin around the place. After an hour or two Pete finally found stink cheese's chest. He managed to lift the staggering weight of the hatch and peeked inside. There on the bottom of the chest lay a bag of teef so large, it seemed a gargantuan squigoth could not carry it. And on the far left of the chest lay a huge shoota that he knew once belong to Grandmasta Goffbag, the most infamous ork in the sector. How stink cheese managed to "aquire" this prized weapon he did not know. But what stumped pete more was how he was going to get this stuff out.
Suddenly a great belch was heard in the second room followed by a streak of green fire coming through the door. Pete was frozen in fear. Why is me place trashed? asked stink cheese. Oh i bet some good fer notin loota is in here rumagin through me fings! he said in a sudden tone of anger. Stink cheese burst through the door and blasted Pete with pure psychic power. Pete fell limp from the top of the chest and lay motionless on the floor. Stink cheese howled with laughter has he looked upon the frail theif he just wasted a days worth of energy on. Then Pete opened his eyes as a pain greater that being sat on by a meganob shot through his body. He stood up, his muscles rippled and grew to an enormous size. Pete smashed Stink cheese's head with a pinch of his fingers. Amazed at his new stature, Pete grabbed the bag in one hand and the shoota in the other.
Soon pete was the richest ork/grot thing on the planet. Orks from everywhere came to kill and take his belongings but each one fell with a pulped crainium. Soon Pete was the Grand Warlord of the entire sector and none dared chalange him to his rule.

da mighty mangler: srtrength 6 Armor penetration 3 Assault 6 pinning
Bionics: if Pete is killed on a roll of 4,5,or 6 he stands up with 1 wound left.
Power weapon: pete's attacks ignore armor.

FOR THE RUNTS!
Pete is still sensitive about his troubled past. He is fond int the act of helping grots in any way he can. Fortunously, almost all grots will throw themselves at the enemy at the merest glimpse of pete. [also in the fear of not returning his good deeds to them.] When a waaagh! is called, gretchin units are affected, they also gain +3 LD And +1 strength.

ORKS! BEWARE MY WRATH!
When fighting other orks, the entire army gains the prefered enemy special rule.

Monstrous creature

pete may take a retinue of either 10 nobz, or 10 meganobz, he may also take a total of 15 gretchin and a runterd.

furious charge.

STUPID ORKS! YOU FAIL ME YET AGAIN!
If pete has a bodyguard of nobz or meganobz and loses a combat, one nob is instantly killed with no save allowed.

This is amazing! I love the fluff and it is all quite amusing, seeing as there is no really unique grot for Space Orks.

And Arctik, NOTHING is overpowered... for the right point cost

BUT, S7 is like an autocannon but with 2 better AP, so if you wanted to keep him at a reasonable points cost, lower the stats to: S6 AP3 Assault 4 (pinning?)

With five wounds and such terrifying stats, he might as well be a monstrous creature. That way he wouldn't need a power weapon (because his attacks would automatically ignore armour), plus he'd be able to go to town on vehicles.

With a Toughness of 8, missile launchers wound only wound him half of the time and even then he has a 2+ armour save. He'd basically smash Ghazgkull's face in, so he'd have to be pretty expensive.

Resentful Grot With a Plan






Ok, so hes toughness 8, 2 + armor save, 4 + invulnerable save, five wounds and when hes dead, theres a 50/50 chance he will get back up.

Then he has a gun that is strength six, hits on 4's will almost always wound a 4+ or 3+ against rank-and-file troups and will negate most armor saves.

And he is a monstrous creature.

Not bad fluff though. It will be interesting to see what points tag you give him...

He dies in a turn to TH/SS terminators as long as they get to re-roll misses. Even giving them Master-crafted weapons is enough to ensure that on average, if you charge, you'll reduce the beast to zero wounds.

Even with his Mighty Mangler Pete is only killing 2.5 marines out of cover or 1.25 marines in cover. Against a Rhino that's only a single penetration or glancing result out of cover and only half of one in cover. Given his limited killing power, infantry level speed, and his high toughness Pete is a bit hard to assign points to. On the one hand he'll almost never earn his points back in pure killing power, but on the other your opponent will really have to focus on killing him or else he will tie up forces.

I'd assign about a 400 points cost for testing sliding upward if needed.

i guess your explanation makes sense 400 points is a bit better. and yes im planning on sculpting him sometime, might even reproduce him in a resin cast. i wanted to focus on the close combat more than shooting, although i did give him a very big gun. i may give him the option of a retinue or nobz or mega nobz, although this would decrease his speed in some cases, it would make him a hell of alot more durable in close combat against those assault terminators. Massed Power Klaws FTW!

i think he should be able to have them because any warlord would want the best of the best with him. pete doesent neccesarily boycote the use of orks. if he did he would have the worst army in the universe. he just has a very large grudge against him. im also giving him a rule that if he loses combat one nob is killed with no saves allowed.
