though i don't like silver marines, your iron snakes look good. Haven't touched the army in like 5 years, but here's my marine chapter.. Knights of the Stormrider. I got them in WD a while back when they did a DIY marine chapter contest I even have a certificate from the high lords of terra saying they're an officially recognized chapter hehe

My DIY chapter "The Nameless" is below.
Basically, they're a chapter that surfaced from the Eye of Terror shiny and new and have no memory of who or what they are. Aside from their devotional texts to the Emperor, and bizarely empty electronic archives indicating the date of their founding (just after the unification wars) they know nothing other than they clearly have spent the last several thousand years in the warp and they are suspicous of even themselves. Did a Chaos god create them? Did they hurl themselves into the Warp on behalf of the Emperor and only finally escape? They have no iconography, and their banners are plain white signifying that they have yet to earn, or learn their place in the universe.
They also come complete with Titans with no mechanicus ties; another peculiarity among Astartes legions. But what does it mean?
