Rather than clutter up the news and rumours, thought I might as well add a thread on here instead !

I've been working on this army for a few years now, since the Tempus Fugitives ran their 13th Black Crusade campaign weekend, and recently for our final Age of the Emperor campaign, set during the heresy era. It's been a labour of love.. the rules in the codex have added new and interesting units along the way and I've tried to encompass those in my army.

It's paid off nicely.. I think the army fits together nicely, I've been able to run my "spider" theme through pretty much all of it, and at the campaign weekend, I managed to pick up second place in the Best Army competion..

Amusingly I had quite a few people looking at the army and asking loads of questions about it.. and one gentlemen recognised a few of the units from other companies (PP and Rackham).. had a nice chat about the army list, the theme of it all, what the Soul Forge is (essentially it's the daemonic wing of the Dark Mechanicus)... and only once he'd walked away did my friends point out that it was Jes Goodwin...
