God, I really dislike this one red shirt. I was reading the 'how to paint citadel tanks' for a couple minutes and he comes over and tells me: "This isn't a library, you should just buy it". Then I asked him for some painting advice:
Me: "Hey, what do you think about doing my black legion marines in charadon granite? I've heard its more neutral than black"
Him: "Well, then they wouldn't be black legion. "
Me: "Yeah, but then I can actually wash them and get better highlights.."
Him: "Just make your own renegade chapter and use that theme. They wouldn't be black legion"

Oh my god I want to stab this little prick. Stop being a D*** and do your job. Provide FRIENDLY SERVICE.

Anyway, I wanted to know how bad your redshirts are compared to this guy. Rant filter: DISENGAGE

In "The Changling" from the original Trek, there's this one security redshirt... man. I was so glad when he died.

So you want to paint a BLACK colour scheme and despise him for pointing out your idea isn't a black colour scheme? Please accept my apologies if I have misunderstood.

We don;t have Red shirts we got black one's and most of them I have spoken to are bloomin' heroes! The constant "He's moved 6 and a half inches!" winges and the "Excuse me Page blah says I can move, does that include the turret too?". I'd end up shooting someone.

If I am not in my room, is it still my room?

Hmm
mixed feelings about reading books that are for sale.
Was this a store copy/display copy that could be thumbed through
I love bookshops and browsing.
It's one thing to flick through a book to see if it is worth buying just to get hints and tips from is getting close to the line imho

Go with your scheme for the Black Legion
sounds cool!
but to be fair you did ask his opinion and he gave it

Is this really the kind of thread we want to foster? I think topics devoted to slandering specific individuals is a major violation of Dakka's rule #1, at the very least. If you have an issue with an individual, you should talk to their manager, call customer service, or man up and call him out on his faults.

Yeah, that's what it was. I have no idea why he got ants in his pants about it.

Thanks! I wash it a couple times at the end and it looks much better on the table that just plain old chaos black guys. I did ask for his opinion, but he didn't give any painting advice, just criticism.

Hmm, yeah, you're probably right. I didn't realize that while making it. X3

It's not fair to have a go at individuals outside the forum. GW read this site and could take it up with the person involved.

If you have a complaint, it is best to go to the manager of the shop, or to the area manager if the shop manager is the person about whom you want to complain.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
