Before I start painting & bugger the whole thing up, I just wanted to stick up a quick pic of my new bike!

That looks cool, although if I had to ride it I might be a little wary of the back wheel spinning inches from my arse. Is it scratch built or a kit from somewhere?

thats awesome....looks like it could be an IG bike. I would totally use that in place of the rough riders. Did you make it scratch? If not what company makes it??

Scratch built, but for the saddle, handlebars etc (so does that constitute a conversion or not...?). Re the rear wheel, I´ve a type of mud-guard to go on but still needs a little work. & thanks for asking if it might be a kit....!

Here´s a few pics of the development process. I´m going to paint it in the same scheme as my Pred ,Dred, chopper etc & use it as a "Scout bike".

It reminds of the light cycle from Tron and the really early long bodied motorbikes. Tutorial or list/source of parts would be great, something like this would make an excellent substitute for rough riders.

I know how you feel, I'm quite adept at converting but no score at painting. BTW looking awesome.

I wouldn´t have a clue how to start a tutorial, but as for a list of parts welll......
The chassis´made out of an outrageous hot-rod custom engine which I´d had knocking around for ages & always wanted to use as is, in the end I spun it through 90º to make a really big block, elongated with a bit of lego, & then attached the wheels. Front wheels being a couple of Yamaha V-MAX wheels & the axle, Stuka landing gear. The rear wheel is made out of the turbines from a pod-racer with the rubber strip used to mount a bike light, and the axle Beaufighter landing gear cut down to fit in nicely.
The body´s made of plasticard & Metro flyers(which have proved most usefull over the years) with straws for exhaust ports and a bit of a Luftwaffe bomb dolly.
The saddle etc is all standard Scout bike (had to be sure it would fit). Finally the two Gatling guns were ordered from Australia!!! but...scale problems, very weedy & I had to make the barrels myself more straws & wire.
The overall design is just the culmination of lots of influences tweaked to a shape which I had in mind & a good smoke!
Anyway... the MkI Tomahawk Pursuit bike (MkI because I might be able to get my hands on a milling machine & see if I can´t make this number in resin)

Nice work. It's as cool looking as it is moderately over the top.

I feel bad for the inevitable 3rd degree exhaust burns he's going to get on his legs, though...
