At long time ago I started work on a fully converted GROT REBELLION ARMY using guard rules. In order to support their increased stats and use of stolen and altered guard equipment I created a backstory for them.

But I knew if I just printed out text no one would read it so I created a rough draft of a comic explaining how the rebellion began. But despite my skills in adobe photoshop I lack the artistic skills to create anything more than concept art, so I began asking around DA for someone to create my comic.

It was there I found Nacho Fernandez whose well known cartoonish 40k art style matched my grot army perfectly and I was lucky enough to have him agree to do it for me.

Nacho did a fantastic job capturing the character of my army and the comic has only just recently been finished. So here it is hope you enjoy it

thats what i feared when starting to read it. this is so much fun you shouldn´t end it now...

i really din´t follow your army build up until now. this is a really great idea. and the grots really deserve to get out of the messy shadow of the orcs to claim their rightful place in the ranks of the other great armies.

And for your next project (Kroggs?) try and get an animator to make a 5 minute back story for you which you can play on an iPod at your tournaments.

Sorry guys but I need Nachomon to work with me in order to produce more and he's a busy man both with work and other comissions. So I'd rather not trouble the guy.

Too bad this is amazing if you do do more you could put how they got the gunship in it.

Very entertaining, very fun story, very nice drawings...very nice! =) Only thing I have to complain about is the name Grotsnik as it's sort of already taken by the Mad Dok of the same name. That's a minor point though, and who says there can't be two with the same name? Loved this, three thumbs up
