I guess I'm a bit late on this but reading the new Dark Eldar codex now and is the most interesting codex in years fiction-wise (I try to avoid the word fluff). The problem with codex updates is that a lot of the fiction can get repetative. Space Marine codices being the worst culprit of course with 80% of the material being the same as all the other space marine codices. The mini-dexes used to be like little collectors items for me but the big full-priced books aren't worth it anymore. I'm sure its great for the players who actually have those particular chapters though. The exception of course being the Original Tau codex which was 100% all new out of the blue stuff.
However, this one's even better because its a faction that's been around like 15 years (about) and you see on the table top, but nobody knows anything about them. No more I say! Whether its the history of the Fall, The detailed descriptions of Commoragh, The Rise of Vect or even how they propagate its informative.
Anyone else reading it? what have you found most interesting/entertaining?
