I was thinking about starting a small witch hunter force, but I was looking on GW for the troops boxes but now they only sell them in metal sets of 3,rather then 10? 3 for almost 20 US $ ? 140$ for 2 squads of 10?... come on now... I checked the collectors but I couldn't find them... can anyone help me out? Thanks

I'm a latin bro, so my slampiece cooks me quesadillas.

GW phased them out. It's rumoured to be in preperation of either a new codex or getting rid of them.

Oh god Scott, don't say they're getting rid of them; Melissia will hear her name being called and it'll be your nuts for the chop.

The next sisters Codex is thought to be coming around early 2012 due to problems with making the new models, so til then you'll have to make do with the old, metal and more expensive models.
Unless of course they're in the Grey Knights Codex.

Hey! I use that codex too! Except for the other force in it. The non-sisters side.

$17.25 for three metal sisters = $120.75 for 21 of them, or two 10-strong squads and an extra. I guess that's a little cheaper than Krieg when you count in shipping. Krieg squads are £35 per 10; I think today that's around $54.67 per squad.

Ah well, at least the Codex is a free download now.

If you check out the News & Rumors forum, try using the Search function and you'll find some speculation and suppositions. The Grey Knights/Daemonhunters are rumored to be getting an updated codex soon, so hopefully Sisters/Witchhunters aren't too far down the road.

Recently I read someone's post relaying that Jes Goodwin had said getting the robes to flow/hang right in a multipart plastic kit is one of the design hangups.

The codex may be free but it isn't complete.

Oh wow, if they removed them that would really suck... and Yea I heard about the new DH but I also heard that there will be no allies in the new codex, just strictly 'Grey Knights'... anyways, thank you.

Yeah, the next Grey Knights Codex features NO Sisters of Battle, I still say it might though just as it can really wind certain people up.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

GW has discontinued production of the SoB and DH codexs to rewrite the new ones.

the GK codex is finished and will be out in Jan.

it will still have Inquisitors and ISTs, but they will be very bland and generic.

the WH codex has no set release date or substantial rumors. likely it will have to wait for Codex: T'au, Necrons, and BT before they get some love.

I chose Codex: Witch Hunters specifically bcause it wouldn't be updates soon. I am finishing up an Inquistional force from it (all =][= and IST,) and putting together a Chaos Renegades "counts as" warband with it as well (using inducted Marines as well.) AND the plan is to use it for my Slann as well, featuring the Sororitas rules for the space frogs. So using Codex: Witch Hunters has given me three armies built almost entirely from leftover bits from my Before Times with 40K.
