This is the first conversion work I have ever attempted. I was working on my Land Raider (As of yet paint job has to be redone to fit with my new scheme). I decided to try out some nurgle ideas, so I started off with a few pustules, then I realized one of the Twin Linked Lascannons was missing so I decided to try and convert the gun to something a little more nurgle , this is by no means a finished project I was just looking for a little feed back of what people thought.

I'm really diggin that Pus Spitter Cannon! Only thing I can recommend is for the pustules is break them up a little bit more. Don't necessarily have them all in a row, put a few in sporadically on the tank. Maybe clump 3 of them here and there in the nurlge-esque triad. Just my thoughts.

Thanks Man, Ill update it when I finish today and before I start painting it. Ok its almost done, waiting for paint to dry then fix the little extra bits, before starting on repainting parts of my tank to my legions colours. Automatically Appended Next Post: I know the paint job isn't 100% (Not very good at painting) but I rather like it, any criticism is welcome, any ideas to improve it for next time also more then welcome

Dude that is disgusting. That is a comment
Just a little randomness (chaos ) would make that tank awesome.

Nice work mang! I assume you are basing it off the look of the Chaos Baneblade featured prominently in Heavy Metal? My only word of advice is that the cannon looks a little disproportionate to the model.
Its also great to see that you figured out twisting for intestines, and making pustules. Chaos is such a great army for conversion work.

Thanks I noticed the scale afterwords, yes I was basing it off the Plauge Reaper conversion of the baneblade, or atleast my memory of it. Yea the twisting really made it shine now if only I was better at painting. All told this conversion took a day, (With waiting for putty to dry, actual putty work about 5 hours)

Dang good looking work youve done there man, as said a few times the cannon does look disproportioned, but what the heck the cannons "inflamed" or something else eh?

Good stuff!
I agree with the comment not to put all the pustules in a line. You don't need to get rid of those you have already done. Just add a few more, dotted around the hull in little clusters.

Thanks guys for all the positive feed back, I am going to add some more and repaint it, I painted it awhile ago. Going to redo the trim in green, keep the bulk of it brown and add a few more Nurgle symbols, in rotting pus of course, and possibly stick some more skulls, you can never have enough skulls .
Can't wait till I get sculpting tools, going to make it so much easier, this was all done with a scalpel lol.

With a SCALPEL?! Man, good for you. You could give me a set of the top of the line sculpting tools, and I'll still make sure it looks like it got hit with a shovel. Keep up the good work!

Nice work on the cannon! Could we get a better pic of the nurgle marine? If I can see right, the main colour is a darkish green with a bone coloured helmet and bright green shoulderpads (correct?).
