I had an urge to paint Camo for some reason, despite having a Nurgle army. Well I picked up 2 IG Cadian Snipers and a pack of the space marine scouts. Heres the Cadian Snipers, just wanted to know opinions.

Tips/Suggestion/Criticism is all welcome.

I know photos aren't the best, tips on that would be helpful as well. And I need to get materials to do the basing still.

Theres some new higher res Images, I know I missed spots it was my first time painting metal models, I will go over it again later.

The camo on the cloaks looks well done, but the face and front body seem to kinda melt together. it could be the camera if im wrong

To be honest, my opinion is that you should turn up the resolution on your camera.

The pattern looks good, but I can't see any detail so I can't really say much. Sorry.

The cloaks look good, it's hard to tell for the rest of the details. Are you thinking about just having a camo pattern, or are you going to add branches and leaves bits on top of the cloaks.

Don't try to hand-hold the camera for miniature shots - hand shake and macro do not mix well (same as hand shake and zoom). Either use a tripod or rest the camera on something.

Resolution is fine. Anywhere from 3.0mp up to 5-6mp will do you fine. Anything more only has a real effect if you are planning on printing posters.

Read the camera's manual and look for the macro focus distance. Do not get closer than this. If you can't get close, then stand back and use OPTICAL ZOOM with a tripod.

Camo is fine otherwise.
