I had an epiphamy yesterday. I realized that I detest painting red, and, being a blood angels player, this is a handicap. I have been trying to think up a color scheme (and some fluff to go with them, but that's another topic...) I am hoping to come up with something unique, and easy to paint. So far, I think I like this one. Kinda a bone color on the legs, and a not ultramarine blue on the torso.

Any suggestions about the colors?

Thanks

I like it, but what about having the right leg red from the knee-guard down to the boots?

I like it, except for the yellow/gold Aquila. I think that would look much better black. Also maybe have the little bands on the backpack in between the exhaust pad thingys and the main part black.

Hm, you gave ME an idea, Grass. Thanks! I've been working on my first SM army for weeks, but I just start to paint and then strip the same three models, because I'm not satisfied with my schemes. Whaddya think about this one? Read the charcoal color as black: TB&C destroys all detail when you use black.

Looks good!
I think that the red should be spread more evenly throughout the model, like the black in Hans's. Thoughts?
