Here is my first attempt at using magnets on a tank, this was my christmas spare time taken. Only my second tank also, after finishing the rhino.
I got sick of thinking up ways to magnetise the sponsons, so I just glued the magnets on the top. I lost up and down movements but I like the finished look and movement.
I also magnetised the turret, back door, all top hatches and it can turn into a rhino by changing the doors. The missile launcher, bolter and spot light were also magnetised just for the hell of it.(those little magnets are a pain).

For good measure I pulled my black reach dred arm off and did them too, Ive got a dred for my next project so the arms will all be inter-changable.

Also done a few captains for weapon variations.

Any feedback for the finished predator paint work would be welcome.

When you can't see the drunk guy at a party, you should look for the nearest mirror.

Nice tank!

Im pretty interested in magnets myself, and thought I'd eventually get round to buying some especially for the predator I want/need.

Glad to see it was a success!

My 500th post too!
