Hey guys,

Im having my second wind in the 40k universe. I "played" when i was a kid and came to the decision that yeh, i kinda wanna do that stuff again. Im determind that this time i wont be covering my models in a half inch mass of paint and so am practicing on these niddies. Iv been on this site for a while and read a lot just hadnt taken the plunge and made a profile.

If im breaking any rules what so ever here with this post then oops and im sorry.

i went out an got 6 warriors, a brood of genestealers, loads of hgaunts and tgaunts and a load of gargoyles. Iv been doing loads of reading and thought an alpha warrior/prime sounded like a good idea too. i like things to look like they belong together so dont want to do much in the way of conversion craziness just yet.

Im hopeless at finishing stuff off. I seem to get inspired to do something else as soon as i start, usually an idea for a terrain piece.
Any way guys let us know what you think, bare in mind nothings really 100%.

Looks good. Close the the desired scheme I want on my hypothetical 'nid list. Were you going to add any detail to the purple? Like a drybrush or highlights? I think it'd make the models pop.

Wow, complements. They might just spur me on, im going to get painting tonight. I was thinking a dry brush. Im not a massive fan of the comic book style nids.

Also im stuck on what to do with the gargoyles wings, big plain blocks of colour arent what i want.
