I have been looking for a way to get some combi-meltas for my SM army. Tried some conversions mixing a standard bolter and melta gun, but they just never looked good to me, and I hated cutting up my melta guns. I went looking through my scrap styrene and found a few pieces that I thought might work. After some cuttiing and shaping here is what I came up with.
I think it turned out well, so I plan to make severl more and use them for a Sternguard squad. I thought it would look cool to have some different muzzles for the meltas, make them more custom for the veteran Sternguard. I still need to clean up the mold lines on the bolters to completely finish them off. I will have to try and figure out what size styrene shapes I used so I can put together a list if anyone is interested in making some. Let me know what you think.

And if you ever get tired of making them from scratch, this I how I make then using a standard Meltagun and a standard Boltgun

OP Good work. With all the plasticard lying around my table I never really considered using it for melta conversions.

Thanks. The first one took a little longer because I was trying to figure out all the measurements, but now that those are figured out I would say around half an hour per combi-multa.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of the 'stripey' muzzles. Other than that, job well done
