There a statistic method measuring a man is, everyone write down his/her sheet, contenting scores for that guy, apart the highest and the lowest and find the average.
This wouldn't work if it's a 3 round game, but should be ok for 5 rounds.

cheers

I think this would be a very reasonable method of scoring sportsmanship, especially the DQ/Disinvitation (since at that point everyone or almost everyone you played thought you were an a-hole). We need more people in the hobby, but some people shouldn't be allowed to play with others.

Well, the idea isn't to permanently exile them from the community; more to give a tangible negative repercussion to consistently antisocial behavior. If people actually impose a real negative consequence, the person hopefully has an incentive to improve their behavior.

But not every tourney player is there to be a sportsman (or rather show of lack thereof). personally it's the only other reason beside RL dakka dakka (ie talking to other gamers, ogle nicely painted mini's and have a few memorable games), winning isn't all there is to a tournament. it should be up to individual event staff to decide. a better result would to reduce points from overall score. to a max of 0 points for the people who are there to win at all costs and make your life a misery (noone would like, painting/converting a tournament themed force, and then play to win nothing, even acclaim for percieved hard earned victories) Orkimedes1000

Did you read it? It starts with point deductions from the overall score; of increasing severity as the number of violations increase.
