Still working on my orks, did some simple buzzsaw conversions, and added some wings, they were too narrow for my taste, and even though orky stuff works regardless of look, I felt it needed wings to flush out the models, also does a good job of differentiating between the carbon copy kopters. Also last picture is a eldar wraithlord I made when I was planning an eldar army back in 3rd ed. I liked the wraithlord rules, but thought the twig legs looked silly. So I took a kit from my old favorite show robotech, and took a viper for the body so at least some of it would look GW heh. A bonus of using plasticard that has hexes is that you can paint checkers on them and if you have even the tiniest amount of painting experience they come out looking really professional, even though the plasticard did the job of making the checkers. Draws the eye away from less talented painting on the rest of the model if your not a pro like im not.
