Stalker drone.....points100
The stalker drone is the smallest aircraft in the service of the imprium. It is an unmanned aircraft controlled by the power of the machine spirit. Its main role in combat is to suppress the enemy ground troops with lighting fast strikes.
BS:4 front:10 side:10 rear:10
Unit: 1 stalker drone
Type: flyer
Weapons and equipment:
1 twin-linked autocannon with AA mount
2 hellstrike missile
Special rules:
Quick reflexes: because of the stalkers high manoeuvrability it can travel a minimum of 18 a turn.
Lighting fast: when it comes to speed the stalkers the fastest, because of this whenever you roll to hit the stalker (AA mount or normal) add a -1 modifier to the roll.
Hit hard, hit fast: when the stalker moves more than 40 from its starting point add 1 to the strength of all weapons, -1 from the AP, and add the pinning rule (e.g. auto cannon S 7 AP 4 type heavy 2, would become S8 AP3 type heavy 2, pinning).

It's cool and all, but this is more or less something that the Imperium just doesn't do, due to reluctance to let anything do anything without a human pilot in it.

thats true, i just reckon it would be cool having a UAV on the field

UAVs are very cool and all... just not very 40k/Imperial.

Tau have drones exactly like this, though. You can see them on forgeworld's site.
