Hello fellow Dakka Gamers!

For those unfamiliar with Galaxy Gobbo -- we are a new wargaming startup that launched about two weeks ago making our debut here on Dakka.
To sum it up - we are a group-purchasing website that rounds up mass amount of wargamers -- like you and make deals with local and online vendors around the wargaming industry. We do this through collective bargaining and we work hand in hand with people to bring down the prices for the game and hobby because lets face it -- Wargaming is not cheap and its definitely not getting any cheaper! Thats were we step in and help out.

Stormravens have landed! (Well half of them).
The first 24 Storm Ravens are going out to our first deal early adopters (many whom are from Dakka!) who gave us a leap of faith and fair chance for us to provide these deals. We allso managed to hook people up with some Army Builder Software, Greenstuff and other products. We would like to thank all the participants from our first launch deals. Those who purchased the first wave's deals will be notified via paypal on the delivery status. Those who are waiting will be notified on when the next wave is coming in (within a day or two from now) and we will catch up with those orders made. Thanks again all for making our launch happen. Lets keep this going.

Now lets get to some more meaty news.

With having said that we are moving forward with further updates to provide you guys an idea on what's to come. From reading all your guy's emails, comments, posts and private messages we have decided to hear the voices and make changes accordingly to our site, system, and processes to better serve you guys.

Some notable news updates:

-Our shopping cart is still in Alpha testing, but surely coming. We are working out the nuts and bolts with our ecommerce cart system. We will be utilizing it as a means of order history, order status, secure payment checkout and customer service. When dealing with deals pertaining a third party sponsor, Galaxy Gobbo will utilize the shopping cart to serve as the checkout system for those deals. We will handle the cash flows, service and refunds (if the deal doesn't follow through).

-Our deal serving methods will be better organized as we move along. We understand that there has been various usability and readability issues around various points on our site and details which we should revise and need to clarify. We are revising the RED DEALS so they no longer pop out at random locations. If you want to guarantee yourself to be informed on our upcoming deals -- join our email list. Our email subscribers will get 24 hour early access to any deals we serve.

-Deal Frequency will be ramped up. We have only just BEGUN with our wargaming deal rampage. We will work our best to launch a set of deals weekly. We will look to offer around 3-6 different types of deals in various game systems per cycle to ensure a different audience grab. They will vary in size, game systems and offerings. You might see deals that you may not like. Just stay on bored. We are finding new and more products to launch.

We are attempting to work with dealer(s) in the UK to serve deals to directly to our Euro audiences. We know that shipping overseas might be a pain for companies we work with over here. We are trying to create a localized segment to better server our Galaxy Followers across the waters. This will make things much easier, faster, and less headaches. This is still a work in progress but things are moving forward.




You'll be sure that we'll get our first hand grabs for Grey Knights when they do release.
So don't get all riled up pre-ordering just yet ;D. We'll have a deal revolving around them when they come.



This week, we are launching a new set of deals on Saturday.





Next weekend, we will be launching a Privateer Press heavy next week mixed in with more 40k, Fantasy and other product.


Maybe in April... we'll do something about those BATTLE ENGINES.. as well.

Given that this is more of a business venture than a transaction between individual traders, I don't think it'd be appropriate to add in the Rep Trader List. Will discuss with the other SwapMods, though.
