Very nice work there! The battle damage on the predator is very nicely done, and I love the weathering effects on it!

well thanks a lot guys i'm glad you like it.

As for how I did the shell impacts on the tank it's actually really simple. All I did was use my pocket knife, you press the tip of the knife into the hull and rotate it to make the crater. don't do it near seams and don't break through the model. after you've made the hole rock the knife up and down in a circle to make the fingers of shrapnel off the explosion and there you go.

I would get a matt varnish for them so they won't shine as much, and you don't have to worry about chipping paint of the models, but besides that, good job

My first orcs were just horrible. Your first figures are much better. Go thinner on the paint though. It looks heavy especially on the vehicle.

Dude, these are really nice. I would go for some highlighting at least on the hard edges, it looks a bit flat on the predator. Overall though these really look great, a million times better than my first minis.

Thanks for sharing this and opening yourself up for criticism: These are excellent paint-jobs for first minis. Battle-damage on the Predator is really quite nice, it's a very dramatic effect and it works well. I see that the paint is a little heavy, but honestly it fits the vehicle because big industrial stuff does have that thick built-up look to it.

The mini is really well done too. My first marines were no where's near as good as this. Next thing up is try out some highlighting and shading effects.

Keep up the good work and post the results!

Those are much better than my first models. Really good eye for ''coloring inside the lines'' and battle damage.

I look forward to seeing what you paint up next!

Wow thanks for all the complements guys that was really unexpected. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated with what i'm doing. I've just started a Panther V model so I'll get pictures of that once I'm done. My main problem now is just finding cheep stuff to paint.

Great looking first models.

My very first models had no detail, mainly because the paint was so thick I couldn't pick any out.

Great stuff
