So im new to 15mm gaming and painted a few things to see if i was any good at it.
I did like the way they came out though i wanted to do a blue and tan color but couldn't make it work for these models.

So i chose a white.
Tell me what you think, some things i need to touch up.

But the tower thing is so-post to be a exhaust pipe with a computer that lets you turn it off and on for certain scenarios. which is made with all tau bits.

They look very good... I've never painted any 15 mil, just b/c none of the games i play are 15s, but i have thought about getting into some of them. Is it harder to paint them, or just different. Any tips from anybody onn how to paint 15 mils?

I just got into it because i saw some people at my game store playing it and it looks really cool on the table. Painting isnt bad the only problem i have is trying to find a paint scheme to use, once you know what you want you can fly through the models.

Plus its really cheap you can usually get like 20 models or more for $10.00

A couple of things.

You may want to rebase that tower, it looks good, but also looks unbalanced which may mean it gets knocked over during play. I would suggest a round base, or at lease center it on the base better.

The infantry guy looks good. Consider a wash, especially on the face to bring out some of the detail. A micron pen may help if you wanted to try and do eyes on it.

Here are some 15mm I have done. Not that the pictures ar VERY close on a couple, so that the crappy painting is obvious. View them smaller/closer to figure size on my photobucket page and they look a lot better:

I tryed some more paint test and finally found a paint scheme that i liked and was happy with the results. To me it came out very good.
