Hello Dakka - I have recently completed a conversion utilizing the new Dreadknight kit and other various kits for my rendition of a Knight Titan described in the Mechanicum book for the HH. I will hopefully have pics available soon to post, but I would like to ask the community what a good datasheet would be to use this model in Apocalypse games? I know BoLS has a datasheet for the various Knight Titans, but it is from 2007 and I'm thinking it could use an update.

Anyway, I'm thinking of basing the Knight Titan off of the new Dreadknight statline just removing the psyker/shall know no fear special rules. To make up losing those rules I would like the option to add an additional weapon systems for an appropriate cost. The weaponry options would be scaled back from the GK specific weaponry to things more available to the Imperium (ie MLs, Autocannons, etc). I figure the 5+ invul save would represent the Void Shield. Here's the basic idea I'm thinking of:

Knight Titan: Base Cost 130 Points

WS3 BS4 Str6 T6 I3 W4 S2+/5++

MC

Arm Mounted Weaponry (TL due to dual wielding rather than two of said weapon like the Tau Crisis Suits)
TL Multiple Rocket Pods (Default)
TL Autocannon
TL Las Cannon
TL Assault Cannon

Shoulder Mounted Weaponry
Tempest Missile Launcher
4x Hunter Killer Missiles (AA Mounted)
TL Heavy Bolter (Default)

I can base the point costs for each weapon system by doubling the point costs in the IG/SM codexes to justify the twinlinking. If you can think of other weapon options please let me know and I can add them. These are all just ideas and I fully expect some to be shot down, but please leave your justification so I can modify the datasheet as we go along. I'm not out to make some overpowered warmachine, I just want a balanced datasheet I can use with my friends in our apocalypse games. Any help/constructive criticism is appreciated.

Pictures of Knight Titan added hopefully. First time posting pics. I have a lot of work left to do before I can attempt painting it (smoothing over the lettering and filling in gaps with grey stuff, etc), but you get the idea. Let me know your thoughts!

Great pics/model! Not sure how good the fit is for the rules or idea i think the knight needs to have some heavier weapons/have an armour values.

EPIC. But seems to much like the crisis suits, just bigger and with much more love for blast templates .

If I were you I'd make it a walker.

He mentioned it that he feels the old rules are a bit outdated

Although for something that is basically a small titan, I think making it a MC is a weird choice

Thanks for the responses everyone. I was basically following the new dreadknight datasheet for in my mind they are essentially Knight Titans designed for the Grey Knights themselves. They are of the right scale and can be modified to handle heavy weaponry. I'm fine with making it a walker with an armor value, I just think it should be a bit beefier than a generic dreadnaught.

I think I should point out that Knights aren't titans, as the user Platuan4th would point out to you.

Furthermore, Knights are on a scale far superior to that of Dreadknights, they are capable of wielding weaponry more akin to that of a Superheavy and even titan-weapons. Knights are also capable in close combat and far superior to the main battle tanks used by the Imperium and other races.
I'd also suggest that a Knight is far tougher than a Dreadknight and would befit increased toughess and wounders or an AV with structure points. Ultimately, I'd suggest that Knights have a statline more deserving of 250pts+.

I like the idea behind it and the model you've made (reminds me of a Mad Dog), however I don't think you're accurately representing the Knights.

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."
