hey guys, I just threw this video on youtube.

If you read here I'll be going a lot more into the steps.

Cloak Basecoat: Before I begin I must say that I've never been much of a measurement kinda guy. So when you see any ratio things in my videos they are much more guesses because I usually go by the eye. I used a wet palette for the color so I could keep mixing into it and never run out of it while I was painting.

Cloak 1st Highlight: Now again, for the highlight I went with the eye not the measurements. But basically I just added a little white to the mixture. When I highlighted the miniature I just semi-quick strokes. Using the side of the brush but not the tip helps a lot as long as you'r pencil doesn't have to much paint on it.

Cloak 2nd highlight: Going by the eye once more, I added ca. 2 parts ultramarines blue to the previous mix. Using the same highlighting technique as before only this time I only went for half or 1/4 of the areas that I previously highlighted. To explain better, imagine a line thats 4 centimeters long. If the line would be hit with loads of light I'd paint 2 centimeters in the 2nd highlight color. If it would be hit with a semi amount of light I'd paint 1 or 1 and halft centimeter of it with the 2nd highlighting color.

Rope: Now while I was painting I noticed that there was a rope around his waist. I decided to go with a simple paintjob for that. One thin coat of codex grey and I was done.

Metal Parts: The metal parts also got a simple, but effective, paintjob. I basecoated them with Boltgun metal and then highlighted them in Mithril Silver.

Oops! One step I forgot to record! After you've done all this I suggest thinning out some chaos black with water at a 50/50 ratio and wash the miniature.
