Some of guys remember the little drama war that happened over here, but despite the haters I had quite a bit of support, and the general consensus was that A: the figure was too glossy, B: the hand & sword looked strange, and C: the paint was too thick. Adding feathers was also suggested, and I have a couple of leads on some properly-sized feather bits. The base is going to be painted and mossed seperately; for now, let's focus on lady Amaranth!

Just so you guys know, this figure is SMALL!

The base she came with is a 25mm square base, same as a 40k round base, so it should be easy to imagine your 40k troop of choice next to her for scale.

Came up with a tattoo/warpaint concept, kinda scrunched up in my presentation here though XD imagine it stretched/narrowed-down and overlaid on a right arm from an aerial view:

The tatto design looks good, can't wait to see the model painted up with it.

I just stumbled onto this thread and I was really impressed with the original figure (even if it was a bit glossy). Looking forward to seeing further progress.

I think I'd like the idea of the tattoo you propose on a "normal" woman warrior but I'm not sure of the concept for a creature with fur. My suspicions are that it will distract from the work you do on her fur but we'll see.

Curious what the name of the original Reaper figure is.

Yes, there are female marines and my Sunhawks will explain it to you.

Not all of the Emperor's Children turned coat. We WILL redeem our honor.

Fairly nice model, I liked the painting on the first one
Unless I'm mistaken though tatoos don't show through fur?
Really liked the glossy look on parts of the first model, maybe
Reuse the varnish to create a sweat effect on the skin parts?
Yeah anyway what do you plan on using the model for? Wargaming or something else? Keep up the good work!

Well, tattoos COULD if they end up "dying" the fur. It could simply be warpaints

The curves are much more natural than the straight lines. Personally, I like them better!
