Has anyone here used these kits? They seem like they would be a good low cost alternative to GW kits

If anyone has, could you please answer these questions:

1: How big are the fully assembled buildings?
2: Do they allow for much variety in how you build them?
3: Are there any left over parts?
4: Is it possible for multiple buildings to be assembled out of a single large building kit?
5: And finally, what is the quality like?

Thanks dakkonians

Dave

Have looked at these myself in the past a few times, not just the gothic sets, they also do some nice generic buildings, i think they were called russian style log house.

just been doing a bit digging and found this if its any help (i know its not the gothic set but it may give a better overview of pegasus stuff)

Got two of these kits so I think I can answer the questions.
1: How big are the fully assembled buildings
About 1 and a half the size of a gw Cities of Death building
2: Do they allow for much variety in how you build them?
Modular pieces so you can pretty much design your own building. They can be modified with a hobby saw to fit with the COD pieces
3: Are there any left over parts?
Depends how you use the pieces, none if you build it as per the box picture
4: Is it possible for multiple buildings to be assembled out of a single large building kit?
2 or 3 (pushing it) quite small buildings would be possible.
5: And finally, what is the quality like?
Quality is reasonable, few easily removed mould lines, parts are easy to fit together, not as detailed as COD buildings but very robust, roofs and floors are not supplied so if you want these you'll have to do them yourself.
All in all fairly good value for money.

Cool, thanks for the help guys.

Looking at building a CoD table and need to find some cheap detailed buildings. These look like they'll do the job nicely

I don't think you can do any better than Pegasus, for the price. Wazzdig is spot on in his assessment - totally modular, compatible with other kits (combining the intact and ruined building kits is common and they're scaled nicely to other pieces in the range, like the techno-bridge), and very fairly priced, but they aren't as detailed as CoD buildings, take a bit of cleanup, and aren't quite as "complete." If you're planning on putting in the work to build a table, layout different buildings, etc. then making your own floors and roofs is a mere drop in the bucket. For building stock, you want these. For all-in-one, unmodified terrain from a kit, you may want to fork out the extra money for a more detailed kit.

After I finish the building I’m doing now I’m going to seriously consider using Pegasus for my next project. I’ve had a few issues scratch building using GW, don’t get me wrong the GW parts were very nice but after building a large scale I was considering using more and more plastic card rather than wall sections from GW just so I didn’t have the same thing over and over.
