Everytime Steam has a multiplayer heavy game on sale for dirt cheap, it seems as if a whole influx of jerks, mainly for the competitive Tf2 and the elitist gmod crowd(the ones who think they're crappy gmod comics are works of art) come and jack up the community just to get achievements or hats for Tf2(or both)

seriously after Killing Floor went on sale multiple times the game is now full of complete jerks and douchebags;

I went through several different servers and people yelled at me and told me to leave after I died a couple times

It's not really Steam's fault that some people are douchebags.

I'd rather have their amazing sales than not, even with all of the awful members it may add to a gaming community.

Just don't pay attention to those douchebags. If they get so angry when you die, they shouldn't play a mp shooter.

They'll only be there for a while before they get bored and move onto the next shiny thing. Weather the storm, it'll pass. It's a price worth paying for their downright awesome sales.

When Monday Night Combat had their little free weekend it was a blast. I didnt bother buying it though and later heard from a friend a month or two later that he complains theres a lot less people about and sometimes he couldnt find good enough servers

But I agree, steam sales are amazing. I have accumulated so many stupid games that I have barely played some of them! Luckily some of them were dirt cheap from $5 packs to 25 cents!

Killing floor has always had people whom are jerks, but most servers have generous players. I've seen both sides of this and been on both sides, where players have just charged off on their own, got killed and then demand cash. I've seen the top player give 3/4 of his cash AND WEAPONS out to new players on the final wave!

Yeah, I know KF seems douchbagist, but there are some ok areas.

I only play killing floor with friends so no jerks in there for me. TF2... yeah well... I lost my interest to it a loooong time ago.
