I ahve primed all of these Plague marines using Krylon Ultra-Flat Camo Fusion (ie...Dark Olive Drab) I have both plastic and metal marines thanks to WarOne and Theophony. I dry Brushed in this order: Caatachan green, Goblin green, Snot Green, and Rotting flesh over the primer/base-coat. I then went in and added the details using boltgun metal and chainmail for the appropriate pieces and then used Bestial Brown, Snakebite Leather, and Bleached bone for the trim. I also used this color combo on the horns, pustules and skulls in varying degrees. I used a shiny gloss lacquer on the nurgly bits (wounds, horns, etc...) For the plasma glow I used, Ice blue and white and a little turquoise as my base color. Dry brushed the end of the plasma gun with Snakebite leather and followed up with a little chaos black dry brush. Anyway take a look...some of my highlights are a little sloppy, but I am getting better, I've only been painting for a well on and off over 2 years.


PS. I washed the weapons with Gryphonne Sepia and highlighted with Chainmail, and I gave the models a wash in Devlan mud.

I ahve upwards of 40 more Plague Marines, 2 Blight Drones, 2 rhinos, Daemon Prince (Ultraforge) Great Unclean One (UltraForge) And My Iron Warrior cum Nurgle FW Dreadnought...I still have a squad of Souldrinker Sternguard to paint, a Landraider Crusader and some Scout bikes. I ahve also gone back and touched up some of my first painted models to make them look a little more up to speed with my learned painting abilities. They look great, though I'm not really convinced by the lighting effect. Can't put my finger on it, but something looks... off.

I know...mould lines...sometimes I just get in a hurry. I agree soncka something isn't as it should be, but it's my first shot. I used a little pen light to see where the light would shine and I covered most of it...but the intensity varies a little. Anyway again thanks for the compliments and Critiques!
