Not sure if this is the right place to put this, so apologies if I'm mistaken in that regard.

There're probably a million reasons why this is a bad idea, but how about a sticky thread where rumour posters rumours are documented are confirmed or disproved, gradually building up a ratio of accuracy. That way, dodgy, fake rumour posters will soon be brought to light, and accurate sources will be likewise. I would call it the Dakka Rumour Accuracy Tracker or DRAT for short.

Why not judge each based upon its merits and confirmation afterwards?

Regular traffic members know who to believe and who to throw salt at.

1. Because I like charts.

2. Because people keep touting ghost21 as some kind of messiah, but I can't get any response as to what he's been accurate on. I've seen a lot of his posts that are inaccurate, but I'd rather not dismiss him based only on my own evidence.
