Here is a custom built Leman Russ, Primarch of the Sixth Legion, The Space Wolves, converted and painted by me. Most of the conversion work was green stuff. There is a thread in the P&M Blogs with pics of this model in the green. The pic with Rune Priest gives a decent size comparison, showing that Russ is about a full head taller even without the scenic base. Anyway I hope you enjoy the pics.

Thanks, the base is just sculpted green stuff painted white with a few bits of painted pine bark added to look like like rocks jutting out of the snow.

Amazing work. I love how the details on the face turned out. The other model next to Russ is great looking too.

I've updated a few pics from a different angle as there was some question as to why he looked like he was leaning forward. The initial pics were taken trying not to obscure his face, the last four are for reference to how he is striding forward through the snow. I'm hoping to have his wolves done this week along with a display base to showcase them.

I'm combining all of my Pre-Heresy Space Wolves into one thread and will be updating it as I get more stuff painted. So here's my Rune Priest. Enjoy.

'Tis a shame Russ has such a boring pose, he has the potential to be much more interesting than that.
They look good, though. I really like that priest guy.
