Alright dakka, I am sure I am not the only one with a hobby goal for the summer. Lets see what everyone is up to!

My goal is to paint my entire 1500 point infantry guard army AND to expand it to 2000 points. This should be fun...

Finish my dissertation!

Aside from that, paint up a unit of 20 skeletons and a Vampire.

Finish painting some DKoK and perhaps start selling some custom bases... I might also make some terrain!

In all reality, I want to finish painting my Space Marines OR my Orcs and Goblins. Seeing how I keep switching back and forth...neither looks likely.

Try and finish painting my 1750 point Chaos Marine army, still 3 tanks and a few other big things to paint haha.

I'd like to get my GK army assembled/painted. Realistically, by end of summer, right now I'm settling for an additional:

- PAGK x 15
- Dreadnoughts x 2
- Dreadknight x1
- Rebasing my RT-era GKs
- Acquiring resin bases for all models

I imagine I'll be able to get everything done except the bases, which should be good enough.

My summer goal (deadline is when I move in with the fiancee so early-mid august) is the paint my 1850 deathwing and either start another 40k army or start a fantasy army.

Finish the $400 worth of CoD terrain I have had since its initial release. Sell a few armies, paint 2 for sale on ebay, and finally start work on my next personal army.

Finish the commission I'm working on (about a dozen Circle warbeasts and a few infantry units to display quality). Get my Thyra army painted. Maybe get another commission if I finish the other early enough.

Finish my entire DE army, paint some Black Orcs, about half of a VC army, and try to figure out what to do to my Dust Collectors SM Chapter.

Depending on what we're defining as the summer:

- Get past 104 painted models this year
- Run a successful gaming show
- Take part in the European Team Challenge
- Paint up any Thornfall Alliance figures I've not finished yet (a weapons team, lesser warlock and beast, 10 infantry and a warlock).
- Get one platoon of Imperial Guard painted - probably Tallarn (see painting log in sig)

Well, if the last few days are any indication how the summer is going to be: My goal´s not to die of Heatstroke -.-

If the weather allows for some painting though:
- Finish my Circle army (easily doable, only a Gorax, Reeve hunter, Warwolf and a unit of Druids+UA left to paint)
- Finish my Protectorate force (maybe not as easy, quite infantry heavy and not even here yet for the most part)

2.250 IG army

getting started with Tombkings and maybe pushing my O&G up to 3k points.
Since the weather is like beeing in an oven, it´s great time to go down the hobbycellar and paint all day long.

- sell off CSM and SW, keep Daemons ( in case i ever want to play a GW game again)
- get a 15pt mercenaries force
- paint my skorne
- paint my cryx

I´m looking forward to participating in the "Scourge of the Storm" summer campaign.

I always loved the summer campaigns, even if people were often upset with their outcome. I just like playing a story - it´s the roleplayer in me.

I've got plenty of things to keep me going, probably won't finish them all this summer, especially as my leave isn't booked until September.

Finish off/tidy up my Nob Warbikers
Finish my Ork Stompa (no rush on this one)
Alter my looted Valkyrie so it has weapons that match Fighta/Bomba stats (again, no rush)
Finish my Legion of the Damned Space Marines
Tidy up my Ork Boyz, early ones need detailing and a wash applying
Tidy up my Necrons (possibly assemble new Necrons, who knows)

And... possibly... start TYRANIDS

- 2 Big Meks w KFF (done = painted & based)
- 9 Killa Kans (3 done, 3 assembled, 3 in a box)
- 2 Deff Dreads (1 done, 1 in a box)
- 4 x 30 sluga boyz (30 done, 60 assembled, 30 in a box)
- 3 Deffcoptas (1 done, 2 assembled)

Still thinking what more to put in there...

To be honest, the project is nothing special, but even so I'm excited!
