Somewhere in the dark...

Another thread on this forum linked to Scibor and I'm thinking that I might try to make a Belial from one of these guys:

http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?group=70

But I want to know, does anybody have any experience with them? What I would like to know, if anyone can help, is:

Are they the right size for 40k?

Do they come stuck to the ornate bases or are they easy to just glue to GW bases?

How do they come in the package? I would prefer to avoid having to cut off arms. Do they come with the arms on, do they come with the heads on etc etc?

Thanks for your help.

i bought this guy:

http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?art=949

and converted him into a IG priest with eviscerator (using the hammer as a power hammer plugged into a backpack...i'll post pics when i get back from vacation...) he can with his arms attached to the hammer but not to the body, along with the base not being attached to his feet.

I love it, they have very cool very affordable miniatures. I think i'm going to buy the resting priest to use as something else in my army.

Consider Scibor SciFi Warriors to be truescale Space marine terminators. Here a typical size comparison posted by Grundz in the Scibor news thread:

They are resin, so easy to convert. Most have separate arms.

Related question:

I've been considering these miniatures as part of a potential side project (Imperial Custodes) & was wondering about arms.

As far as I'm aware the bodies come without arms & so do the weapons/shields/shoulders.

Am I wrong, or?

Currently they sell halberds, shields and shoulder pads, but no arms. Maybe later.
