Started of as a exercise to practice my greenstuff studs and slowly turned in to everyone's favourite night lord .

Doesn't Talos have a studded helmet?

It dosnt actually say what armour mk he wears other than he likes mk7 chest prices for the eagle on them . He also gos through at least two helmets in the 2 books . I chose mk5 as it looks mean and I wanted to practice sculpting rivets.

I HATE CAMERA PHONES!!!!

check the camera for dust. and try again. Its the culprit behind bad/grainy picture quality. just nab an air duster and blast it against the lens.

Great GS work, but I think the sword is too big. I belive the book mentions how Talos draws his sword from the hip, and there's no way that monster could be drawn that way.

you siiiiir, have never drawn a long-sword. I used to think it was impossible too, but the trick is its not like it's rammed through your belt. there's a bit of hang between hip and scabbard, and the entire thing is balanced so it doesnt drag on the ground. It would be quite easy to draw that monster.

aand he totally has a TL bolter. It's not called as such, but it does have two barrels. Its an inherited weapon, and I get the vibe he doesn't much like using it.

Thanks guys i think I've fixed the camera abit by stripping the casting off lol .
In the secound book he is described as haveing it mounted in his back and as he dosnt have it scabarded just mag locked to his armour drawing it shouldn't be a problem.
And your right he inherited the bolter from the warsage on his death. Got a few bits to Finnish but will put up pics as soon ad hrs finnished .

As someone who is currently putting together some Nightlords I was wondering if they have ever been described as being covered in Chaos symbols or are they more of a rogue chapter who just live in the eye of terror? Are they meant to just look like a chapter with rather battered equipment?

As a whole they don't worship any chaos power but you do get individuals and warbands who do . That's what makes them a cool army to collect as you can have a unit of khorne assault nightlords if you want as well as anyother option from the book .
