The Shire(s)

The greatcoat legs + trench-raiders torsos, extra armour for the hips and the shoulder plates would make pretty good Vostroyan stand-ins I think. Just a suitable bearskin head that is missing at that point.

Heh, I look at the great coat legs, and think...

New California Republic. (I run an on again/off again Fallout tabletop game....)

The Auld Grump - mostly in Florida... not much call for the NCR down that away....

Working on female motorcyclist. I'm thinking something like this pic. Might also do a greatcoat version. Suggestions appreciated.

No one would ever want to ride a motorcycle in a great coat. Take this from one who has tried, and had it catch a piece of barbed wire.

The Swiss used tunics like this one instead of greatcoats for motorcycle troops. It's almost identical to the greatcoat, but is simply cut shorter to prevent the coat from catching.

Great coat, same period.

I might also suggest that pockets might give a better idea of the coat/belt proportions. Not sure how helpful that is, but it's a thought.

I have left them off as they get in the way when you add pouches and gear, but I could put them on and let people trim them off if they want.

Well, the Swiss you mentioned actually have/had a dedicated army biker Great Coat:

It is made of some kind of gummy fake leather.

Female Not-Vostroyans some day would be pretty boss. I'd still like to see uniforms based on WWI/WWII British and French uniforms.

That's actually fairly new and accepts the actual greatcoat's liner.

The jacket itself is actually a duster, not a greatcoat. It's above the knees, has rain flaps, and is single breasted. It's cuffs also cannot be turned out. It does, however, have the duster's characteristic interior strap so that the coat does not blow around like a great coat would.

Dammit Baron, now I miss my duster (still back in the US).. although it doesn't really rain enough here to justify it most of the time.

As for the uniforms someone mentioned, I don't know much of much as for what's planned like that, but I do know that the Matilda is going to have a commander with the english style get-up, and the plan is to have a beret head for one, and a US tanker helmet for the other. Because, well, I mix styles like that sometimes!

I see. I occasionally get lost with the terminology. Thanks for clarifying the differences.

Cozy cockpit of an Imperial Knight

Received my order today, a squad of female Tannenberg and a drummer girl. Nothing to say about it other than the usual stuff really: excellent quality casts with no bubbles, or holes. There is flash, but as previously, it shouldn't be too much of a bother to remove. Can't wait for tomorrow to arrive so I can get to work on the girls and crank out another squad of Veletaris.

As a bonus there was also a single flamer, a MK. III laser rifle. A bit scary, as I was eyeing both for future squads of Auxilia with lasrifles and flamers. Also included another drummer girl! I shall be using her to win over someone who has been looking at this range for quite some time now, but needs that extra little shove in the right direction to really start buying.

This should keep me well chuffed until the Matilda arrives.

Oh, just wanted to add.. love the new arm sprue design! Nice and compact, while also sturdy.

My drummer girls arrived today as well, very, very nice. (It's just a shame the head is part of the cast!)

I have to say, the girls look better in hand then they did in some of the pictures, it comes down to the screen, camera angles, and seeing arms.

There was also something really big, really heavy, that goes BOOM (and no, it's NOT THE TANK) that I'm going to have to start playing with this week.

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

Upgrades for the upcoming artillery piece?

Also, stuck a few of the girls together last night and again, nicely done! I like how the arms and the torsos go together, with the epaulettes slightly sticking out so they slot into the tops of the arms. Less fiddly!

Right, now that Adepticon's over, I'll post this up here.

I did a Limited Edition mini for Adepticon, and similarly to Victoria there will be the ability to buy a very small quantity from her webshop.

Unlike the Adepticon minis, these will be in resin (not metal). I was hoping to have pictures of the resin mini for you already, but we (the caster who's a mate of mine, and I assisting him) ran out of resin right before we could start casting them. Well, there were dregs left, but casting with dregs is like drinking the dregs, grounds and all, of your coffee - sure you can do it, but you really won't like what you get.

Anyway, for the moment I merely present the digital renders. When we have pictures of the actual one for you (in resin, not metal), those pictures will go up and you'll get a count-down to it, same as with Vic's last year.

Nice! Reminds me of the style used by the troops of the Severan Dominate, from the now dead Only War setting.

Sad is right. It was as bad as when White Wolf's run on Ravenloft suddenly got axed by WotC. 'cept WotC actually had the guts to SAY 'We're axing White Wolf's Ravenloft' FFG just did like they always do and just STOPPED without warning.

When will it be available roughly? A week? A month? Just so I know to mentally mark 'Be available for net access this day'.

I've got all of vic's limited releases so far, and I don't intend to miss one!

He's human in power armour sized.

Adepticon listed him as "Inquisitor-Judge Vander Tuul". I didn't name him or do the fluff. Personally, I shall be using him as the Warlord for my 500 Worlds Imperial Militia.

Looks nice. I finally saw the autocannons at Adepticon and they looked amazing. Sadly had run out of spending cash (according to my wife). Do you have pictures of how your various weapons look on the femburg? Working on the wife to approve a purchase .

I'm pretty sure that Victoria eventually plans to do female versions of everything, it's just finding the time and not murdering her hands to do it that's the question.

After all, you can only make so many blood offerings on projects before you start to risk nerve damage! (That's why I've gone to doing it digitally, my keyboard has never made me bleed yet)

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.
