Hey everyone, Ive been painting my orks for about a year now and have hit a dead end.
I'm not too sure where to go from here in terms of detail.

Any suggestions and tips on how to get more detail into my models would be greatly appreciated,
specifically in the skin- arms/face.

Constructive criticism is also welcome.

Some washes on the cloth and metal bits would make it look much better.

Highlight the teeth bleached bone? Thats about all i can think of the face.
As for body, add some depth to the pants and belts. A little bit of shadowing and highlighting is need. Other thanthat, you should be very pleased with what you got

I'll go down a quick list of what I see could increase the overall detail level of the model:

Paint the eyes
Paint the tongue
Drill out gun barrels
Add a little color to the weapons. Maybe paint the gun casings and handguards/grips a bright colot to make them stand out a bit. Possibly look into using weathering pigments to add some rust effects to the metal areas of the model.

They are all small steps, but add it together and it really does increase the detail level of your model, and helps make it pop a bit better.

I'm no expert (just started painting) but heres a nice tutorial for Ork'y weapons http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?categoryId=&pIndex=3&aId=6800023a&multiPageMode=true&start=4

Like others have said, Drill the barrel, and for the teeth in one of the WD's it says Scorched brown > Graveyard Earth > Bleached Bone > Skull White

Not sure why your orkz look like they just stepped out of a pool, but I beleive its varnish of some sort you use to cure that.

drybrush the ork with highlight colors, light washing, hit with more drybrushing (but less than the first time).

Devlan mud makes metal bits look nice and rusty.

Paint more of the parts different colors.

Skin looks fine. I'd say get a matt varnish for the leather and cloth bits, and do a little bit of weathering on the metal and clothes- The skin and face are fine, but that level of detail looks out of place next to the relatively simple equipment.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

A brown and then orange wash for rust on the metal, drill out the gun barrels. Paint the tongue scab red, wash the whole mouth with Devlan.
I think a matte coat would be better too just because it looks more natural, but not everyone agrees with that viewpoint.
